Title: Mollegabet bow questions

I have a nice piece of european hornbeam which I intend to transform into mollegabet bow (lever bow). Since I never done that kind of bow before I have a few questions.

How minimal thick levers need to be so they don't bend?

How do you tiller the limbs? Do they have gradual taper from fades to the beginning of levers or they have constant thickness like in pyramid bows?

from what i've seen the levers are sometimes thicker than bending limbs, bending limbs are parallel, but not always

Stalker, do a search for "Layout dimensions for Mollegabet bows" on here.  Half eye is the "resident expert" on these bows here on PA.  He will be glad to help you out too.  You can also Google information on these bows.  I'm just finishing up a black locust one.  Good luck and with yours.

I like to do a pyramid taper from fade to top fade top of pyramid 1" wide top fade 1" long tapering to 3/4" then lever taper to 1/2" at tips. They only have to be 1/8" thicker to not bend at  finish
