Title: Morning fatigue
Post by: sleek on October 09, 2016, 09:23:51 am
Any one else have mornings their muscles are sooo weak you can barely drive ( and i mean it not an expression or that I am still sleepy ), where it feels like you went to the gym and over did it? I can barely hold a bow much less draw one, my muscles fail on me and i nearly drop it. This usually goes away after being awake for a bit but sometimes lasts all day.

Time for a check up with your doctor. Don't fool around and put it off.

At your age that doesn't sound right Kevin. Best to go get a checkup.

That sounds serious. A checkup is a must. Don't put it off. We're lucky in Europe with our mostly free healthcare system, however flawed it might be. You guys over in America have it tougher I hear.

Edit: carbon monoxide?

I hadnt run my generator in a week at least. How long are the effects? Maybe I got an exhaust leak in my truck? It is always worst after a long road trip.

Not just generators cause carbon dioxide. Do you have a carbon dioxide monitor in your house?  Go to the doctor and let him rule things out or determine the problem. Self diagnosis is not the way to go.

I usually get about 6 hours sleep. If I sleep longer like today I got like 8 hours, I feel like I got ran over by a truck last night. Like everyone else said though, get checked out. Cheers- Brendan

Quit pushing it until you see a doctor. Not only can it be bad for your health but bad archery habits are very hard to break.

I know exactly where you're coming from on the can't afford the time aspect, but to turn the question around can you afford the time not to?

I have a friend who had similar fatigue problems, 73 years old with never a sugar problem. Turns out he had turned into a diabetic almost overnight. He got his sugar problem straightened out and he is back in the game.
