Okay, here is the finished product... you wont find a curtain rod like this at your local home and garden store!
I still want to put about 2 more coats of finish on it and one more layer of gold leaf to be sure it doesnt ware off. Full draw and shooting videos still to come :)

Hope ya didn't take offense at my curtain rod comment, it is definately art and anyone into LOR
will love it. Shows some great craftsmanship and imagination. Just don't see it as primitive or traditional ???

That's different and nice. Have you noticed any hand shock with those tips? Not trying to rag on it but you said it was funtional. I was just wondering if it was an all day "shooter"?

I will be honest, you do have a gifted artistic talent. I will also say, this is not my cup of tea...of course I don't much care for that "Lord of the rings" look. To those that do spose it's great! :)
