Look this over and tell me what you think. Pulled to 16".
-
Left limb is stiff, right mid limb could use a few scrapes.
-
I like the left, for now. And agree with scooter on the right. Looks the kink is allowing most of the movement.
-
Left limb is good. With a straight edge the kink on the right limb isn't really working much. What is messing with me is the dipped area between the knots on the right mid limb. It's working some but looks stiff to me.
-
I'm assuming you still need to take weight off, so those are the areas I would scrape. You're right it ain't far off.
-
Anyone else think the inner section on the right needs to work more (between the handle and the kink)? It doesn't look like you are getting much movement there compared to the same area on the left.
-
Looking good. I like its character :). The kink is scarry and is definetly going to take skill to tiller. right after the knott definetly looks like its doing more work than right before it, however I would be carful taking anything off around there since 1) that area is doing a lot more work than the same area on the other side, and 2) if that is a knott it will be much more likely to break there understress. I think in generall the last qaurter of both limbs at the tips are awfully thick, but you're probably planning on thining that when you start drawing it further. I would start at the tips and left side and just watch that area some more.

20" draw. Need to lose 10 lbs.
-
that looks better to me Jon, we have the same tiller set up it looks like but i just put a screwdriver in the holes
-
I'd say take some off the outer 1/3 of each...

Thanks Bub.
Del that is what I was thinking to get the last six inches of draw. Thanks.

That's what I'm seeing too.
