Or alarming. :o
A jungle cat in the desert. Yikes! ???

They come up from Old Mexico pretty regular but the colder winters drive them back.
-
That's news to me. :o I wonder if it's global warming
or their numbers are increasing so much they are
looking for new territory. ??? Lack of hunting them too.
I wouldn't want to run into one without fire power.
They get way bigger than a cougar.
Crap, that may be the solution to illegal immigration
on the southern border.

LOL. The Az game folks have a large wildlife ID folder with pics. They tell you about the occasional Jaguar and also about the escaped wildlife ranch escapes.

Hope they stay in the west. Yipes. :) They could be rough on Sally and Sister when they are out of some of their woods walks. >:(

About two years ago some of my relatives in MS told me they had seen some Jaguars there. I know people say, "No way!", but they have been there and may still be there. They said one of them was a baby, and it fell out of a tree in the yard. One of my brothers said he heard his dogs acting crazy and went out to investigate and came face to face (about 10 feet (apart) with one. I showed him a picture of one off the internet, and he said it was without any doubt the same type cat.

Maybe Jacksonville can get some of these Jags in the draft and win a few games...
