I Had to repair a back side chrystal so I patched it with rawhide. decided to patch both limbs and wrap it with 2 types of hemp cord and Bunny fir. Tillered again and Bow is still at 50#@26 64" I put a leather grip made from leather I traded from PAT B.PK

She looks sweet. Nice job, Phil. You wouldn't have frets on the back of the bow unless you strung it backwards. Frets are compression stress cracks. It would be a tension break across the back. Your repair is probably adequate but I would have added glue to the crack first. I may have even gone down to the next ring. A crack across the back can be devastating. Pat

I added crazy glue to the crack then to the rawhide,I hope it works, lot o time on this bugger,I don't like changing things but when ya have to :)
