Hello,
these are two Ash bows I finished recently. Both have in my opinion very little set (for ash) and are shooting very nice. "Snow White" is finished withe danish oil wheras "Rose Red" was darker from the beginning, I tried to enforce this character by using a dark shellac for the finish. Snow White has 48lbs@28", weights 593g and is 1,7m long, Rose Red has 39lbs@28, weights 503g and is 1,8m long.
I hope you like it.
Greetings from Germany

A very good example for the old wisdom:
a bow
is a bow
is a bow is

bow is a bow
I like the simple plainness of the two bows.
Mach weiter so Jonas ;)

I always enjoy the grain pattern in Ash bows! Heat treating/toasting makes it come out even more. Very nice work sir. Are the tip overlays cow horn?
