I know this is a bit of a long shot. But does anyone out there have a manual oil press that they will trade? I'm got a few things I could trade. If you have one let me know and we can make a deal. Thank you Tim

Tim, what are you pressing oil from?

Pat I'm needing to make walnut oil and linseed oil. Going to use it to make my own oil paints. Both are quite expensive. I figured I might save a bit of money doing it myself.

Hope you find one. I've never seen one.

You can get a manual food grade press for under $120

Bubby. I've seen them. I have the walnut tree but not the funds for the press right now. Was hoping to trade a painting or some bow stuff for one. But it can wait for now. 120 bucks isn't a bad price if you don't have to pay for the walnuts. And flaxseed is too expensive but the refined linseed oil is up there. I'd use boiled linseed oil but it only works for wood. Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it. Tim

Tim my grandma ma had a oil press that sold in the estate auction years ago. I remember her talking about it but never seen it in action. I'm guessing it's the same thing your looking for. I hope you find one.

There are a bunch of them on eBay in the $85 range.
