I stopped at a local glove making facility, to get some scrap leather, I found a pretty big piece (for their scraps)of black leather. I also grabbed some other colors nothing as big as the black. When I was going to weigh it up the gal I was talking to, tells me the black is American Bison :OK

That's some nice looking leather.

they make some nice gloves there and use some really nice leather. I think next time I'm taking scissors and get rid of more scrap.

Very nice find.

Nice looking stuff, Ed. The buffalo hides I've seen had a real nice grain to it. Lots of texture.

Those are some nice scraps Ed. And I love the variety of colors. My fur buyer makes gloves mostly deer hide but beaver too. You gave me a idea.
