Well, I thought it's about time to get this up. I received my trade bow from TimothyR back in September. After telling Tim that I received the bow in good shape, I didn't think it would be right to start putting it through its paces until I wrapped my bow up (I was still getting my bow for Jeff (jeffp51) made).
Now that everything was squared away, I had time to put some arrows through Tim's bow, and I have to say I'm very happy with how it turned out! It is a bendy handle osage bow that's 66" ttt, has snake belly for the backing, and 42# @ 31". I know it's not an easy feat to make a wood bow for such a long draw, but she's very smooth out to the 31"! It took me a bit to find an arrow that worked for the bow, but I found a wood arrow that works really well. Tim had a really nice B50 Flemish string, but the arrows I made for it tuned better with a D97 string I had laying around.
And here are some pictures!

Close-up of the back (and a bit of the character of the bow... it's really cool seeing a bow that has some character to it!):

I'm also amazed at how accurate a bow with no shelf cut into it can be once you have a well-tuned arrow (this is not only my 1st bendy-handle bow, but my first shelf-less bow as well). Thanks again for the sweet bow, Tim! I drew a spring turkey tag, so I'll be shooting the bow some more in hopes I can bag a tom with her.

I did trim them a bit after taking these pictures. They are about half the size they are in this picture. I didn't feel like taking a new picture with the trimmed silencers (but the colors are the same, because why not!).
