Hi all,
I finished this one about a month ago and have been shooting it quite a bit.
Seems solid and fairly fast. The string give a nice tong sound, not much "twang" or hand shock.
I used a cut off piece from one end & glued it on for added handle meat and left the sap wood on. I shaped it to fit the palm of my hand and it lays right on the life line. Tip overlays are calf hooves for the dog chew bins. They have a somewhat clear look kind of like finger nail. The stave was an old piece and had a dark purple look.
It was deflex a touch in the middle so I tried adding some reflex mid limb and outwards. I lost just about everything I added while tillering but I decided I like it as it turned out. After shooting the profile stays pretty close to where it is before shooting.

that's a very nice snaky bow.

Very nice bow, and great tiller as well. I like the way you did the handle build up, very neat looking results.

Looks great. I would like to see the first two pics with the camera focusing on the bow instead of the tree, especially the handle, its hard for me to see exactly what you did. I'm no photo expert, but sometimes you really have to mess around with these cameras to get them to focus on what you want.

Thanks for the comment everyone.
rps3, I don't have good cameras to work with so getting a good picture that show well is a challenge.
I try but they could be a lot better..

Emmit,
That is one balanced bend, you look very comfortable behind that bow...Really nice job on that character Osage...

Good point Don, if it feels balanced pulling it back the tiller is most likely good..................

When I first saw this bow I was very impressed with the tiller. Then I saw the front profile and all the wiggles in that thing! ...now I'm way beyond very impressed! Excellent work sir!
