OK, I'm over thinking this... This is a simple pyramid bow, just under 1 1/2" wide at the fades tapering to 1/2" wide at the nocks. Thickness is consistent from fades to 1/2 of the limb, and then has a 1/8" taper to the nocks to bring the tips around just a bit. I like having stiff outer limbs because it seems to give it a bit more "flick."
Anyway, it's a lightweight, 40# @ 27"
Does the tiller look right, or is this still a bit stiff? (No, the right side isn't stiffer than the left, it's just a bit slanted in the tree)
-
I think it looks pretty good. :OK
-
I think that looks like a pretty darn nice of a bend myself.
-
Looks good. If anything, the outers could bend a fuzz more, but not really needed. Nice work!

pretty nice, especially the way the bend right out of the handle is executed. Is this the same width/fade length you have published earlier?
-
I also think the outer limbs are a bit stiff. If the outter limbs are not working they create more shock and rob cast. That been said good even bend. Arvin

I guess that'd be a great tiller for a 'refined andaman-holmegaard' from TBB w/ wide inner limbs? because the inners seem to be bending a lot more. But such a design with the stiff light outers is very fast with heavy and light arrows - I'm just parroting off TBB...
Is it just my eyes deceiving me or is there a slight hinge right after the left fade? yeah i think it's my eyes, or the camera angle
-
Looks good to me, just how I like the tiller on mine. :)I like the outer 1/3 a little stiff.

I think it looks good, I like mine a tad stiffer coming out of the fades and a tad stiffer in the outer limbs. Depending on the length of the bow for a 62" or under bow I get it working very much like you did here.

Depending on the wood type and what sort of stave it is I wouldn't like it bending so close to the fades.
Board or natural stave?
-
Pretty good. Left limb could bend a bit more mid-limb.

Yeah, the fades are the same. I extend the transition of the depth of the handle 2" into the bending limb, and that prevents any abrupt bending at the fades.

It's a laminate of hard maple over white oak.

Thanks for all the replys folks, I've got a bad habit of overthinking these things sometimes.
