Title: crookity osage recurve and blackrat skin

this is a osage recurve with blackrat skins i have been working on off and on for a while. 68" ttt and about 40# @ 30". alignment gave me fits right till the end,
 longhorn tips that i gave a matte finish instead of high shine. double rest and i burned in some decoration on the leather as well.
 shoots super smooth and can shoot it all day. I am giving it to a friend of mine that had a heart attack this winter till he builds up his strength,

Nice bow Bubby, hope you told your buddy you where making him a sweet bow. Wouldn't want to shock his ticker surprising him with that beauty. Hope he gets all healed up and healthy.

Should mention I like how it looks still being pulled out to 30" bub.Bet it's got pretty good cast for a 40# bow.

I gave Dale the bow today, actually set it and some arras on his desk before he got to work. He was a happy camper and was able to draw it fine

No clint, he had a seminar or something to go to today, besides it was 109 with 40% humidity today
