This bow was made for a young man. He and his wife just finalized their adoption of a beautiful baby girl.
He wanted a bow made from material all from his old homestead where he was raised. So the tree was fell and the rest brought to me.
This Osage bow is 59"TtT and pulls 55#@26" Backed with Rattles snake, tipped with deer antler he harvested. The beaver tail handle was taken from Little River that runs through the property and coyote rest.

Thats one of those bows that just might stay in the family for generations. Great job.

Thanks again. And Badger your right. My next bow is for his wife. The bow will come from the same stave just inside from his a true matching set. Though hers will be dolled up with bling. I'm thinking there is so much wood left the little one may need a starter bow too.
-
Love it knapper. Beautiful bow and really appreciate that everything came from his home range. I'm really liking that you got enough left from that stave for a hers bow to and maybe starter for baby to grow into.
