Now that bow season is upon us, I wanted to do a book give-a-way. My outdoor mystery novel, At First Light, was published back in May, and it stars a primitive bowhunting high schooler who is suspected of murder in a south AL deer camp. I've had non-hunting adults tell me they loved the story, but its really geared for outdoorsy midteens and young adults. A fantastic read for anyone, but especially for older teens and young adults who like to hunt. Look for it over on Amazon for the reviews, and you can read a few sample chapters there to see how the tale starts.
Just post something here telling me you want to be entered for a chance to win an autographed copy, and I'll put your name in the hat for the drawing. I'd like a couple days for getting the names, so lets say the cut-off will be Monday (Oct 9th) evening at 8:00 central, and the winner announced by 9:00. I like to be able to extend the cut-off some if the name count is low... but we'll cross that bridge when or if we have to.

This sounds like a really good book for my 15 year old Grandson, I'd like in.
-
I think my daughter would like this book.

And just so everyone knows, this was OK-ed through the moderators. I'm getting a lot of views, but very few responses. Just mention you want to be entered in the drawing for a chance at a signed copy.

I know of just the young man that would read this. Go ahead and enter my name. Thank you.

Autographed? I am IN!
And if I win, I will read it cover to cover and bring it back here for the next reader.

If it's not to late put me in my 14 year old daughter loves to read.

Looks like we have just 10 interested people. I'm going to say lets give it one more day and see if we can pick up a few more. Lets go through tomorrow afternoon/evening, and see what happens... Say, around 5:00. The drawing will be after that, no matter the number (after I get my kids home from school and daycare).

So, we had only 12 entries, but hey, that's how it goes sometimes. I just wrote each of the names on a small, individually folded pieces of paper and put them in a coffee can, gave them a good shake, and my 10 year old son reached in and pulled "penderbender" out.
Congratulations penderbender. If you will shoot me a PM and tell me how you want the book signed and where to send it, I'll get it in the mail to you tomorrow.
Thanks to all who participated. If you would like a signed copy anyway, feel free to PM me for details.
