One of my buddies had one for a pet for awhile. Pretty cool. It wasn't very friendly.lol. Always enjoyed watching him though.

Did you skin it?  An iguana handle wrap would look cool.

Nice one.  I'm wondering if I can kill the big green enoles.  The one's that are the size of my forearm.  They are invasive and showing up.

The keys are/were covered in those buggers. It wasn't uncommon to have 5-8 in sight at one time. They would swim canals from side to side. I even seen a bunch dead on the road sides. Invasive might be an understatement, Steve-O.

Glad we don't have them up here, yet. We've got Nile Monitor lizards and some kind of new one about three feet long, with black and white spots that has establish a breeding colony now.

The cream of New Yorker soup is excellent, but a little fatty and pale.

I think the most popular invasive species feast in Florida would be a Canuck Potluck ;D ;D ;D

I've heard those type critters can be skewered, and roasted over hot coals!  Supposed to be a delicacy in some parts of the world!  Methinks, I'll stick with venison! -C-

I think tied in small groups and boiled in a big pot is the traditional way. ;)

I've had it cooked over a fire in Colombia and it was pretty tasty.

Steve, makes you think the next time you see a sign at a store advertising "Real Cubans" sold here?
