Title: Loctite glue question
Post by: sleek on October 26, 2017, 05:16:47 pm
I absolutely love the performance of Loctite gel super glue. I need however more than 10 seconds of set time. So, i see tjey also make a glue called GO2 GLUE. Its not a CA glue but rather a polyurethane and polyoxysilane glue. I have no idea. But it jas a 30 min set time and 24 hour cure time. I am reimforcing tje belly of a thin recurve, its non bending, so, it shouldnt need a working load. Im curious about anybody's thoughts on it?

I've used it.  I wouldn't trust it for anything other than gluing a handle wrap on.

I am with clint, i used it and wouldn't trust it. You can get extended pot ca glue, but i would just use tb3, it will give enough time to get the work done and you know it works
