just wanted to show y'all a knife I made the other day for a Christmas present.
Georgetown blade with a a antler handle, then I screwed together a couple antlers for a stand.

Bjrogg, I just made a tapered tang sort of like a gary point and glued it in a mortised hole in the antler with JB Kwik.

Yep very clean work! It took the right piece to make that handle, but you nailed it.

Stringman you're right about the antler being right, I just got lucky to find it and make it work like it did. I don't have another piece that will work like this out of about twenty sets of antlers. The opposing antler would have worked but I had done cut some flat pieces from it and had cut into the area needed for a handle like this one.
