Nice pics Bobert. Looks like they are toting some fine bows around as well.  Who made em'? :)

Thanks bjrogg, and Chris. My son in law and I both teamed up to make the bow my daughter is shooting. I really like the one my son is hauling back, one of my best shooters, hoping he gets a deer with it.

My crew is coming for their once a year visit at the end of the month. Last year I introduced all of them to archery, they couldn't get enough if it. Son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter were all slinging arrows and hitting the target within an hour or so of my initial instruction.

My granddaughter is 13 and 5'10" already, I bought her a target recurve because she would outgrow any bow I made for her. I hadn't shot a recurve in 20 years and found that my osage bows shoot much better, at least for me.

You have some serious bow making skills, great job!

Nothing beats family time, and especially when there is a common interest. You're making fine memories.

Thanks guys, I am grateful to have family participating in archery.  Your right Eric, my older granddaughters who weren't there that evening have outgrown a couple bows already. I just finished a new one for the 10 y/o.

We also shoot "at" Aeriel targets there too. I make up a bunch of flu flu arrows out of pine dowels from michaels. They work good...we just need more practice.
