Hi all,
I'm currently working on my first osage bow.
Plan is 66" ntn, slight recurves, 50# @ 28".
At the moment it draws 50# @ 24" so there is a little room for possible improvements to the tiller.
Here the pics:

How does that look to you?
Which changes would you suggest?
Thanks to you all.

Looks to me like it might be a little stiff just out of the fades of the upper limb. Otherwise looks good... :)

What Greg says

maybe i'm seeing things, but is there a stiff spot mid lower limb (third tile) pushing the bend closer to the handle (second tile)? but it's very mild, so i'm not even sure it's there.
PS: here's what i mean.

That's nice, Dustybear. Makes it really easy to see where wood needs to be removed. Stiff of the fades on both limbs but right limb needs to bend more. Jawge

Think your on to something there Marius! that makes it stand out, hmm...

sorry folks, i think it's yankeemongiat's invention. i'm just a copycat ;D but it helped show what i believed to see.
