It is a mite far from here, but I'd sure like to work a trade for some!

Tomorrow's the season opener, I intend to go dig up a few nice chunks. I realize it's a long way from anywhere, so hardly anyone will go. I'll be thinking of you all!

Thanks Z! I appreciate your input. Yes I've developed a decent game plan, it's served me well at gb and other places. I use a folding e-tool, a regular shovel, and a long pry bar. I'm getting good at removing nodules without chipping or scraping them up much.

I wish I could, to far away.

Change of plans, looks like I'm going Thursday instead

Sounds like fun. Might have to put some extra springs in your vehicle.

I love exploration trips that end with a good load of goodies to remember it! My best friend and I went to glass buttes a couple times and always have a ball. Rock collecting, shaft, stave, etc all are fun trips. Someday I’ll get to Davis creek, show us some good pictures of the trip and haul!

I still haven't made it yet, hopefully soon. Funny how life gets in the way of living sometimes

It may actually be a good thing as the ground could have still been frozen.
