Title: 2 R/D Bows for Friends

I have 2 good friends from high school that I'm trying to get into traditional archery, so I let them pick the materials and colors they liked and I made them these bows.  I normally don't put this much focus on looks, but I wanted to get them something they would be excited to shoot.
 
Bow 1: Osage/Walnut/Bamboo, 50#'s @ 28", 65" NTN
Bow 2: Ipe/Hickory/Bamboo, 52#'s @ 28", 65" NTN

I need to get a full draw of the ipe bow.  I'll update when I do.

Wow nice riser designs and profiles your really getting your design dialed in did you change your profile on the recent pair ? There beautiful Ben your friends will love them !

Ritchie, those are pretty standard off my r/d form.  I normally try and slim them up to get a few extra fps, but I didn't on these.  I wanted them to be durable for my friends used to shooting compounds.

Ben, I love pretty much everything about those two bows. Building a bow like that is high on my one of these days bucket list.

Thanks for the compliments. 

I would say the recipients are happy.  One is shooting bulls eyes in his hallway and the other came pick up his bow last night and shot a few shots in the garage.  Not terrible form for only shooting a traditional bow a couple times   :OK
