Title: A Sinew Backing Question
Post by: ajbruggink on August 02, 2018, 06:44:55 pm
Hey guys,

I started sinew backing a bow for the first time last Saturday but I wasn't able to finish the first course. I had about a 1/2" inch to go on one side before finishing the first course and there were a few spots that could be filled in because I can see the wood underneath. Can I just start again where I left off without problems or do I have to wait till the sinew I put on has cured? Your replies are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron

Makes no difference.  The glue just gets reactivated.   Just wipe it off well if you've handled it much at all.
