Title: Random question
Post by: Mafort on August 27, 2018, 08:17:12 am
So I have a random question about making an arrow shaft stiffer for heavier bows. Can I use rite bond and brush it on the entirety of the arrow shaft and make it stiffer? I know I can do the same with heat but I was just curious as to if that has been done by anyone.

It will just make it heavier mass weight wise over the whole length. As does other finish. Not affecting spine that I've seen.

Shortening an arrow will make it stiffer.  If you have the extra length that might help you out.

How much are you wanting to stiffen them.
