Title: Chasing a ring on osage

I spent most of the afternoon working on a couple staves. 1 is about 3/4 ready, other is down to the one above the final ring.

I found it fun, frustrating and kinda satisfying... I just can’t fathom how the 1st Americans did it with only stone tools..... wowzer!!

Should also say , my staves are about as easy as Osage gets. You masters will have a good laugh later. Hats off to you all and those character bows.

Don't forget to seal them. Osage really likes to check.
