I looked up through one of our skylights at midnight and saw it. Too cold outside to go out to look. Pretty impressive.

I don't ordinarily stay up to watch the things but was watching one of the Bourne movies for the third or fourth time and was still awake at 11:00 so I took a look.

I suspect primitive folk got pretty riled up about such things, it was kinda' erie.

I went outside at 10 pm last night and couldn't believe how bright it was.  I took this picture with my cell phone.  I guess it was right before the eclipse.

Cloud cover 100 percent in KC last night. So no eclipse for us. Glad some of the folks saw it.

Yep, plus the Chief's hopes for the Superbowl were "eclipsed" as well...  :(

We had a good view here.  Pictures didn't take very well on the cell phone, though.  I watched now and then up to peak totality, by then it was nearly directly overhead, and I got a good look with my binoculars.  Bummer about the Chiefs, though.  They are my second team.
