Tune in to the 10:00 news and you get an idea of spring in the high country! 5-6 feet of snow in the last week in some areas! Unfortunately a chap died in an avalanche. We are in the Lee side on the Front Range only about a short foot of snow but about 1/2 inch of water. We need it! March and April are our heavy snow months, but I have seen 3 feet of snow in May! Kind of rough on the tomatoes!!
Stay safe!

Yep, we have had lots of the white stuff this year. Got another 6 inches on Thursday and now it is raining.
Gonna have a snow shovel in one hand and an umbrella in the other.

Just starting to turn here. Today is supposed to be 3 degrees above freezing. First time this year. A slow melt would be good.
Thanks Leroy

Spring here! osage leaves are coming out, Turkeys are gobbling and the season opens Saturday morning.

News Flash! I just saw a tv blurb showing Topeka, Kansas police arresting the "groundhog" for falsely reporting an early spring - official charge is "weather tampering"! >:D (lol) (S). Looks like we could get 5"-10" Wed. & Thurs. we need it, still "abnormally dry" or worse over much of the state.
