It is for my dogs ;), warning though, some time they have an issue in the getting rid of it part. Also you must know my dogs are use to all kinds of uncooked scrap stuff, some more coddled dogs may now handle it so well.  ;) I feel sure it won't kill him but he made not keep it down so well. :)

My dogs, all of my dogs, have always love sinew, knuckles and bones and the meat from around them.

Well you’ve all put my worried to bed aside from the coming out part. He’s an old man so hopefully he can pass it fine. I figure he’s gotten into way worse and passed it no problem so hopefully I can add this to the list. Thank you guys

Make sure you store the rest of your tendons safely. Now he's got a taste of it he'll be back. :D There is a whole industry built around dogs loving tendons.

I make dog treats out of the smaller tendons for my wife’s 4# little rat dog. He loves to them and have never had an issue. Good luck! Ed.

I was drying my Elk back and leg sinew in the shop. My old Irish setter Luke musta stood on his back legs to get to them. the bottom of it was 6' high.
Your mutt will be fine. Might have the poopies  ;)
Thanks Leroy
