IMCF stands for International Midevil Combat Federation! search it up on youtube and watch as they beat the dang crud out of each other! all i could think while watching these was "another thing on the bucket list."  Crazy awesome sport.

WOW.  Watching a bit of that made me think that it was a good thing that wasn't around when I was younger otherwise I would be in worse shape now than I am already, I have enough joint pains as it is.

By the looks of it the sport is a bunch of guys in overly heavy armour bludgeoning eachother with blunt weapons and body weight untill one gives up or ends up with a concussion or broken bones. Crazy stuff.

I think that is the same outfit that supplies bodies for the "KnughtFight" series on the History channel!  Those dudes are about as crazy as bull riders!  At least I had 2 parachutes jumping out of airplanes!

ouch pretty brutal
in Italy we have plenty of ancient traditions and sports
try searching youtube for "calcio fiorentino" or "calcio storico"  (Florence soccer).
As in almost every ancient tradition high suffering, pain and limitless violence are key in the game  ;D
