I worked this George town flake tonight
-
I started on the ends removing some of the curvature but I got a big ol overshot on the base end that caused me to come up short on the finished width with 1-1/8". It wound up 3-7/8" long though so I got some extra there.
-
worked the cortex side trying to remove more of the curve.
-
Got the ishi stick and pressure flaked it the rest of the way
-
before I did all that I made this point out of a piece of gravel. I broke the tip off so it wound up short
-
And, heres one more I made before that from a flake
-
Thanks 1442. I was missing those.

Love the GTown point.
What are the final dimensions?
-
Excellent
-
thanks y'all
final dimensions are 1-1/8" X 3-7/8". I lost some width with the early overshot flake.
