Title: One Seed Juniper vs Alligator Juniper for bow wood?

For those experienced with both of these woods, which do you prefer for making bows? Can you say a bit about why? Thanks.

I don't have enough experience with the bows yet to comment on anything other than my experience gathering both.  It was much easier for me to find One-Seed Juniper branches/stumps that are suitable for bows than Alligator Juniper.  Almost all the Alligator Juniper I found was either knotty or twisted in lengths suitable for bows, but the One-Seed seemed to produce about 1 tree in 30 or 40 that had fairly straight stumps in 60 inch lengths.  Probably not a universal situation but that was my experience in Arizona.
