Title: Wool hunting shirts?
Post by: WhistlingBadger on February 29, 2020, 11:56:11 am: Happy Saturday, everybody. Does anyone know where I can buy a wool, camouflage, button-up style shirt? Similar to a Pendleton board shirt, but in camo? Money can't buy happiness, but if it could buy a shirt like that it would be a definite step in the right direction.

Post by: WhistlingBadger on February 29, 2020, 01:50:00 pm: Ben, there are some shirts that come up in a search, but most of them aren't merino, and only a few of them are camo, and none of them are both...so I can see why they're showing me all those. ha ha ha (I sometimes think that whoever programs the Amazon search software needs to lay off the weed) There's one that looks sort of decent, but it isn't a button-up.

Post by: Pat B on February 29, 2020, 01:54:35 pm: Have you looked at G. Fred Asbel's site. His wife makes wool shirts, hooded pull overs, wool pants, etc. They aren't camo but plaids which works as camo in many color combos.

Yeah, I'm finding ebay to be the best bet for plaids. And I can vouch that woolrich shirts are pretty good for camp, too. ;D
