Title: Self made clamps
Post by: maitus on March 11, 2020, 06:34:07 am
As we need many clamps sometimes and as they are quite expensive I find it could be a good idea to make them yourself. If You have made them it would be very interesting too see what kind of solutions have You invented :).
Hera are some of mine.

Do you have wingnuts on them or do you use a wrench?

I’ve been meaning to put to use all of hardware and all thread I got to good use.  Now you got me itching to make clamps.

A 1/4” impact adapter to use 3/8” sockets is a god Send these days.  Makes unbelievable quick work of bolts and nutz.

Great work and thanks for making me realize I need to step my game up and stop enjoying this beautiful weather and get to work!!

Made these about 35 years ago. Not as flexible as factory made, but do the job and cost little.
