I'm pretty sure I need a bag or pouch of some sort for when I go to the archery range.
Wondering if you guys have any pictures you can share of bags and pouches.

Here is a tinder pouch that I made this winter out of some scrap brain tanned deer hide, also I made a small bag but will have to look harder for pic. Bob

Hopefully Pat B will post up some of his bags. He makes some of the finest bags I have ever seen. I will get a photo of the bag he made my grand daughter using a bear paw for the flap. Just OIUTSTANDING work.

I made this sheath for a neck knife from deerskin. My daughters both want me to make them a small bag like it.

Thanks, guys. Gives me some ideas to work with. Much of the images I see online look too much like "man purses", which I just cannot do.
I showed online pictures from my searching to my wife and 95% of them i got a reply of "oh, that's cute". So she's my litmus test ;D

Deer possibles bag / Raccoon and deer fire kit bag / Squirrel and deer neck bags. I harvested , skinned, tanned and sewed all of them. Far from perfect but all handmade. The deer hides were brain tanned and the squirrel skin and raccoon hide were Dixie tanned. The neck bags I made as a pair (one for my grandson and one for me).

DC,
Blue Ridge Products out of VA makes Dixietan paste. Not sure what is in it but it smells like sassafras. Easy to work with small pelts. Not sure how it would be with a deer hide. I usually buy mine at a local trappers Show but I think it can be bought online.
