Title: Black locust staves?

How long do you guys let your black locust staves dry?

Treat black locust just like osage. You could probably get a bow in 3 or 4 months but a better one in a year.
Take the stave to floor tiller stage, strap it to a form and give it a couple of months to dry. Be sure the back and ends are sealed well.
