Title: Beaver tail sources?

I'm looking for places to get beaver tail for grips. Where do yall get it, how much is it, and how hard is it to work?

My brother and I trap them sometimes, so I get my tails from the source. Working them from the animal into grip leather is a pain in the butt. It would be easier, and probably cheaper, to buy them but that's not my style. Besides, the fur is useful and meat is delicious and it's just plain old fun trapping them. It isn't stretchy like the deer leather I usually use, so is better used on straight grips or those with a little less contour. That reminds me, I have some beaver and turtle I need to tan soon.

Sleek, all my tanned beaver tails have came off the big auction site. Average price is around $25-30 each. They are nicely tanned and dyed with a consistent color. For beaver tail I recommend wet forming the leather to the grip, it seems to be the easiest way to work with it.
