Title: Fletching flu-flu shafts?
Post by: Hawkdancer on September 02, 2020, 10:58:20 am
To spiral wrap, or use 4-6 full length untrimmed feathers, that is the question?!  Or take my birthday money and go buy some (lol) >:D (SH)!  Or both, it is already bird season here!  Decisions!, decisions!!  Anything for a chuckle!

I like spiral fluflus for a few reasons. The first is you only use 1 feather . Another is full spiraled stops the arrow in about 1/2 the distance of a typically fletched fluflu. You can adjust the travel distance by shortening the height of the fletch. I use my Young feather burner.

I prefer spiral wrap.  I’m cheap and a minimalist so using one full length feather is great.
