finally got to try the new Shinto rasp, really like it. It is just another good option for removing wood on a bow. I can see where it has it's place to get wood down like a regular rasp and then followed with a scraper. I didn't get much time, maybe twenty minutes due to cooler windy air but the sun was shining. trying to be mindful of my health. awesome to have options. Jerry

They are handy tools! Even good for things besides bow making :BB >:D (lol)!
