Love it. What did you dye the wood with?
-
Fiebings leather dye. The whole bow was stained with saddle tan then the tips and handle were faded into black. I also stained the back black but wiped it off before drying to add more contrast to the ridges.

This may be one of your best yet, good job. :)

That is one beautiful bow. Love the dye job, too. Excellent work.

Beautiful bow!

Knocked it out of the park! Nothing about that that I dont like a lot!

Hard to say anything that does it justice. Your consistency in your work is extraordinary. Perfect bend. Love the grip and love how the handle flows. Great work - as always.
-
Excellent bow!

Did you heat treated it? All I heard about hickory is, it is prone to string follow and your design is very slim but limbs are straight.
Looks very good. Gonna make one from English oak.

Very nice... love the grip :)

It was heat treated under a radiator and I kept the stave in a drying box as it was made. I also smeared the belly with pine resin after heat treating the final time. Ive been doing this lately and whether or not there are performance benefits I like how the wood finishes after
