I have been knapping but I haven't been having a ton of success. In the mean time I found some more rock yesterday on a job site and it was too tempting to pass up. I honestly didn't expect it to be any good but half of it was good quality and very pretty. I'm told from reliable sources including Marty(flintnappingtips) that it is Burlington chert. The stuff closest to the cortex is trash but the blue/grey and white parts are smooth and have a very nice tone when tapped. Enjoy

That’s a nice load!!! I suggest heat treating it! It might make the cortex workable!

I would if I could but I'll prolly work it raw.
