Title: Yew sapwood and compression-ability?
Post by: simk on September 14, 2021, 03:36:16 am
Hello  :D
How about compression ability of yew sapwood?
Let's say if I build up a handle from yew sapwod....would you expect any problems in the fade transitions of a laminated bow?
Anyone see yew sapwwod chrysal?
I know that Simson has made all sapwood bows...
Thank you

a) I wouldn't expect problems as it is so flexible.
b) No I've never seen it chrysal, I've only made a low weight all sapwood bow.
