This is same bow that I asked for help on string alignment March 15th. Asymmetrical bow with right limb 1” longer than left limb. Bow is 11/2” at fades and 1/2” at tip, 65” ntn. Bow is pulling 50# @ 24”. Goal is 50# @ 28”. Tillering gizmo indicates stiff spot mid limb on right limb where there is a knot. I am concerned about continuing to remove wood in that area because of the knot. Please critique tillering to this point and advise how to proceed.

sand it even till you hit 50 at 28

Both midlimb seem a little stiff to my eye 🧐

There is also a knot in the middle of the left limb but the gizzmo doesn’t mark it.

Oldvol. It looks pretty good to me right now but right limb is slightly stiffer on the inners then the left. It does look balanced to me though so I’d shoot it and see how she feels and call it good. Nice work.

It looks like theres maybe a weak point near the tip of the right and stiff at the knot, mid limb of the right. Obviously tho' you are reluctant to ease off near that knot.
If you have extra width at the knot area it could have a tad off the belly, but if there is no extra width I'd maybe leave it alone.
Looking again, I'd say ease it off just beyond the knot for an inch or so... eg the tip side as it looks stiff there.
Marked a couple of other areas that look maybe a tad stiff... check for thickareas and even thickness taper with fingers/verniers etc

Thanks Del. I didn’t think about checking for thick areas and there is extra width at the knot.

Knots should appear a little stiffer than the rest of the limb.
That stave is too short for 28". 26" may be reasonable. If you try to remove wood from fades to midlimb.
Double check your draw length...your actual shooting length...not your pose draw.
I have to leave for church.

Thank you George. I will shoot for 26” and only remove wood from upper limbs
