Just another arrow.

Tri flow obsidian from glass buttes

Red osier from my farm

Turkey tail feathers and my rendition of a two fletch

First arrow of 2023 for me

Probably can’t see the red but it’s in there.

Thanks guys. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen the sun this year too. At least for more than fifteen minutes.

but let the record reflect that I'm strongly against putting it on a stand
you should honor it and let it fly toward a deer

Thanks GlisGlis. It will probably go in my hunting quiver. But until hunting season it will probably be on the stand. That’s where the arrows I fill my quiver come from. Got a couple special ones.

Pretty cool looking stone for that point BJ. Always find it neat when you can see light through a knapped piece. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Mike. This Tri flow is pretty stuff. The clear is as clear as any glass I have ever seen. The black is pretty strong and flakes hold together nicely. The red is a little tricky but it works too. Like when I can get all three colors in one point.

What a beautiful work of art.  Trouble with your arrows, BJ, is they're so perfect I would never be able to launch one at a deer.  Unless I was really hungry, of course.   ;D   I always enjoy seeing your work.  Thanks for sharing.
