Peep sights on a selfbow. . . now I've seen everything. Nice bow!
-
Chuck,
Can you tell us how you did the rabbit fur on the handle? I bought some rabbit fur a couple of months ago to do the same effect. Is it one piece glued, or two separate pieces on each end?
Thanks, Jason

YOU SAID IT

Nice character, and well integrated. It's hard to look at a good character bow and even compare it to a right and regular bow, at least in terms of aesthetic appeal. They may give a bit of ground on cast or hand shock, although they don't necessariy have to, but they just plumb peg the cool meter.
-
Very nice! I got to fondle this one a bit on the practice range, and fellers it's sweet. ;D
-
FANTASTIC!!!

Thanks everybody.
I usually make by bows for hunting, and didn't put the extra
time in for looks. You guys inspired me too.
Jason
The rabbit is tied on at both ends of the handle, two small
strips. I might glue them on at a later time.
Ryan
See you Friday evening.

Nice Bow.....WHo did you get the Billets and sleeves from?? Whoever it was picked out two nice pieces of wood...
-
Mike there's no sleeves. Its not a take down. You'll have to ask Chuck for sure but I think he got the billets from Gary Davis.
-
Thanks for looking.
I got the billet from Gary Davis. He knows
I love any wood with holes in them. He usually
tries to save them for me.

Great job on the bow. I thought that "Two-holer" only referred to outhouses, but I am wrong. I think I should get partial credit since you used my vise so often at Pappy's! Seriously, very nice bow with excellent tiller.
