This is my new Hickory Board Bow. It's 1,3" wide from the fadeouts to 5/16" at the nocks. The nocks are with walnut overlays and the whole stick is 63" long.
47#@28". Takes 1" of reflex after ca. 50 shots, most oif it in the reflexed tips because I gave it a little too much till tillering. I think I will give the bow away to a newbie in shooting wooden bows. Tips are reflexed with dry heat and the belly is tempered:

holmegaard?

Mighty fine Hickory bow, nice work.

Good! This design seems to prevent stringfollow. My first and only hickbow was an ELB who got some stringfollow, around 2- 3 "). Its performance is slow. But it was a tillering candidate.

Great job on the hickory. I love the unbraced profile. Good tiller, too.
