Finally got around to making a new bow for myself.Built this one along with the static recurve we built last week. It a Bamboo backed Osage R/D Tri-Lam with a Bacote riser. The specs are the same a s the Static Recurve.60" ntn 50#at 28". Vert sweet shooting and smooth

This one and the recurve are both beautiful bows. I really like the contrast between the wood colors. Saw Filer

that is beautiful. i love it. that handle is amazing :)
-
Beautiful... tell us about the lams... how are they tapered and how thick? Thanks, Jim
-
The bow started out with just a core lam of osage 5/16 tapered to 3/16. It came out to light when I got done tillering it so I kept going till I go to 30#and then added an 1/8" belly lam to it.
