Hello,

My name is Zhigang, I've been making bows for almost ten years now. I sell bows in China. I enjoying making challaging ones. i also make bamboo backed bows. I'll post in the future maybe.   

this bow is backed with Bungarus fasciatus

42 pounds at 28 inches.

66 inches long.

 Beautiful bow!  What wood is this?  Sorry...I looked it up and see it is related to mulberry.   You did an excellent job working the snaky end.   :OK

Awesome bow!   That’s a lot of snaky character in that top limb!   Very nicely done!

Welcome to PA. Very nice snakey bow with beautiful tiller and cool snake skin backing.
 Bob Barnes, Maclura is the genus name of osage(Maclura pomifera). I've never heard of it but looked it up also. Maybe agdaldashl will tell us about the wood. Asian osage?  :OK

Very nice. Love the look of snaky bows backed with snake skin. I had to look what type of snake it was naturally. Banded Krait. Very deadly snake on a great looking bow.
