Title: English Yew primitive
Post by: Del the cat on April 05, 2024, 07:09:36 am
50# @ 28" character primitive.
I haven't posted for a while, it's easier to link to my blog rather than reduce the resolution of all the pics.

Sweet as a nut! Although I am doubtful if horn-nocks qualifies as primitive... Nice to see your videos again.

Always enjoy when you do Mr Cat.

I know what you mean about resizing pictures. A lot of work for a poorer picture.

Del,

I simply don't understand why anyone bothers to upload pictures to the forum when it is so limited and inadequate. You don't have to do anything to your pictures, just link them straight from your blog. The PA forum software automatically resizes them for you and people can click on the picture to see the full resolution version if they want.

For example:

She’s a beaut Del!  I followed this build on your utube channel.  Very nice bow for sure.  I recently switched to imaging host like imigur and once you do it a couple times now I can do it from memory.  There’s a sticky on it on the main page for reference.   Lovely bow!

All natural materials (other than string and glue). No arrow rest... meets NFAS definition of primitive.

  For example:

Code: [Select]

copying and pasting the link is easy enough.    Did you use a tool to generate  the tags with the width and height info?
Code: [Select]
[/img]

I did nothing, just used the 'insert image' button in the header above the text box when replying and a straight copy of the picture link from Del's blog page. The forum software must automatically do the formatting for size when it loads the image.

Very nice Del. Lots of character in that puppy right there. Certainly a better end than being left to rot. I’ll watch the build later. Always enjoy watching your videos.

Very nice bow!
Much reminds me of the Bodman bow, or a similar stoneage type.
Well, except for overlays and arrowpass...
