Title: EA40 shelf life
Post by: bentstick54 on August 26, 2025, 10:41:18 am
I just bought some EA40 and have never used it before. Once I open it and then put the lids back on, what can I expect for its shelf life?
I have multiple sets of billets aging, and plan on z-splicing. Should I plan on doing multiple glue ups at the same time so the EA40 doesn’t go bad on me, or can I do them one at a time over a long period of time?

My last batch got gritty, and useless at the end of 3 years, I would use it up in two years if you  can. I bought mine in quarts in stead of pints not knowing shelf life at the time. Next time I buy it it will be in pints. Expensive stuff , but works great.
