Title: Photo sizer to help with post photos
Post by: sleek on October 05, 2025, 01:45:08 pm
Posting photos is a pain here without something like this. This link is a very simple process to think your photos to the correct size to post on this forum.

Thanks, Kevin. I'm sure lots of folks will appreciate this. I put my Photos on IMGUR, a photo storage site where I can set them up and size them for posting on forums and websites.

Or just use a third party host and not worry about any of this. When I post pictures from Imgur they automatically get resized to suit the forum and the viewer can click on the picture for a full size view if they want more details. Uploading tiny pics to the forum directly is very archaic at this point and the pictures are so small as to be nearly worthless.

The picture below is uploaded at full size to Imgur and I simply link to it there. It comes in sized to the forum posts and you can click on the pic to see it at full size if you want to see the details. This is so much easier than resizing and uploading and gives viewers a much better look at the picture.

All that makes a lot of sense. I dont have an Imgur account so I cant speak for it, but it sounds great. I posted this link because it requires no account and very little computer literacy to use, perfect for me lol.
